The United States Postal Service is helping Santa fill the wishes of children this Christmas through the Operation Santa program, which will be part of the Carroll County Drive-Thru Christmas parade this Saturday.

Families with requests should write letters to Santa that include sizes and colors for shoes and clothing. Letters requesting toys, games and books should be specific.

Letters should be placed in an envelope and addressed to: Santa Claus, 123 Elf Rd., North Pole 88888. The return address should include the child’s first name and complete address in the upper left corner. A first-class stamp should be applied to the top right corner.

The Carrollton Post Office will be on hand at the Carroll County Drive-Thru Christmas Parade Nov. 28 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the county fairgrounds to accept letters.

The letters will populate the USPSOperationSanta.com website, which opens for letter adoption Dec. 4.

USPS customers can visit the website and adopt a letter to help a child or family have a happy holiday when they otherwise might not.

Additional information on the program can be found at USPSOperationSanta.com.
