Carroll Co. Arts Center opens; plan classes in October

The Carroll County Arts Center opened to the public Sept. 1 after being closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Hours of operation are Tuesday and Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursday, 1-6 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A variety of handmade crafts are available for purchase, such as wood items, jewelry, paintings, and more.

Watercolor classes will be held beginning in October for beginners or advanced participants. Classes run six weeks.

Artist Cheri Bell will instruct the beginners class held, every other week from 4-6 p.m., starting Oct. 13. Artist Bev Marsh will instruct the advanced class from 6-8 p.m. beginning Oct. 6.

The Carroll County Arts Center is located at 204 W. Main St., Carrollton.
