Build a snowman with non-snow materials

Carroll County Convention and Visitors Bureau officials are inviting community individuals, businesses clubs and organizations to get their creative juices flowing for a one-of-a kind contest: Snowmen on the Square.
The unique contest offers the opportunity to build a snowman from non-snow materials and display their artwork on Public Square Feb. 19-March 5.
Rules are as follows:
Set up March 20 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Judging will be conducted at 3 p.m. Snowmen can be built off-site and set up Feb. 19.
Snowmen are not to be made from real snow. Use other materials.
Stakes will be available. Note on registration form if a stake is needed.
Snowmen props must be permanently fixed. No weapons or sharp objects allowed.
Participants are responsible for the upkeep of their own snowmen.

Snowmen cannot exceed six feet tall. Any lights must be solar or battery operated. (No outlets available.)
Advance registration is required. An entry fee of $5 will be charged. Make checks payable to CCCVB.
Snowmen must be removed by March 5.
