Brown Local Schools cancels school due to threat

Brown Local Schools canceled school today as local law enforcement investigate a threat made via social media. Superintendent Mark Scott has released the following statement:

“One of our students received a threat directed at Brown Local Schools overnight. At the recommendation of local law enforcement, we decided to cancel school for all Brown Local Students on Friday, September 6. Local Law enforcement needs more time to investigate the validity of the threat. Student and staff safety is always our top priority. We will continue to communicate as more information is made available.”- Malvern Superintendent Mark Scott.
