The Art on 30 Gallery and Gift Shop in Minerva celebrated its grand opening on Aug. 16, with a ribbon cutting and open house.
Located at 301 W. Lincoln Way, Art on 30, will feature owner David Jentgen’s black-and-white photographs, paintings by Sally Priscilla Lytle, Marti Jones Dixon and Emily Orsich, ceramic creations by Liz Krammes Eynon and much more.
“We find it very rewarding that people more and more look, not just at straight retail, but that we also now have a cultural part of our town with both you here at the Art on 30 gallery and the Art Spot downtown,” said Mayor Tim Tarbet before the ribbon cutting. “We, more and more, are creating a destination and art, we have found, is very important. We’re excited to have you here. We’re excited to see an old building in town being put to use. I think it’s just great, and we’re proud to have you here.”
Art on 30 carries items from stocking-stuffer size to statement pieces and is just a stroll away from Sandy Springs Brewing Company and other downtown restaurants and shopping. Regular hours are Thursday and Friday, noon-6 p.m.; and Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
