July 22 – Book discussion “The Essex Serpent” by Sarah Perry at Carroll County District Library from 6-7 p.m.

July 24 – 3D Monarch Painting at 1 p.m. with Cheri Bell at Carroll County Arts Center. New technique with hot glue and acrylic. See sample on Facebook page. Cost is $35 and includes all supplies. 

July 26 – Card making at Carroll County District Library at 1:30 p.m.

July 27 – Stark Parks will offer “Birds of Prey,” a free program, at Minerva’s Municipal Park Stage at 10:30 a.m. Learn about Ohio’s birds of prey, as well as meeting some of Stark Parks’ ambassador animals, including a falcon, hawks and owls. Attendees should bring chairs or blankets to sit on. In case of rain, the program will be held on the stage. July 28 – Free Community Blessings Drive-Thru Dinner 5-8 p.m. at Perry Twp. Hall in Perrysville. Sponsored by Perrysville and Pleasant Hill United Methodist churches.

July 29 – Create a cement leaf bowl at Carroll County District Library at 5:30 p.m. Class may be messy; wear play clothes.

July 31 – “Trust and Obey” Vacation Bible School 1-5 p.m. with music, games, stories & crafts at Perrysville United Methodist Church. Weiner roast for families at 5 p.m.

July 31 – Bluebird Farm Park Summer Concert Series at 7 p.m. at the Amphitheatre on Alamo Rd. SE, Carrollton, featuring China Grove. Cost is $7 per vehicle. Bring lawn chair/blanket. Food & beverages available.

Aug. 1 – East Springfield Vol. Fire Dept. Auxiliary pulled pork dinner from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.  at fire hall 9845 CR 39, Bloomingdale. Cost is $10, includes, pulled pork w/roll, mac & cheese, green beans, side salad, dessert and drink. Dine in or carryout. 50/50 and Blackstone raffle. To place an order, call 740-543-3563.

Aug. 6 & 7 – Kilgore Homecoming and tractor pulls. Sponsored by Loudon Twp. Fire Dept.

Aug. 7 – Bluebird Farm Park Summer Concert Series at 7 p.m. at the Amphitheatre on Alamo Rd. SE, Carrollton. Corn Fest featuring Liberty Bridge and Black Powder Pie. Cost is $7 per vehicle. Bring lawn chair/blanket. Food & beverages available.
