Carrollton Village Fire Department is looking for energetic, self motivated, goal oriented individuals to help serve its community on the yearly average of 250 calls.  Individuals will be required to pass a background check, drug test, and physical for firefighting activities and upon hiring take and pass the Ohio State mandated 36 hr. Volunteer Firefighter class.  Applicants must live within an 8 mile radius to be considered for employment.  Individuals will be paid per call at the rate of $10/hour.  Minimum annual requirement to retain employment is 25 hours of in house CE and 25 calls.  Individuals may apply at the station at 135 3RD St., Carrollton on Monday evenings at 7 p.m. or obtain an application at the Carrollton Municipal building Mon. – Fri. 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. or download an application from the Village’s website
