The Village of Carrollton is seeking qualified applicants to fill an immediate opening for the position of Laborer within the Village Waste Water Department. This position performs tasks related to the maintenance of the Village Wastewater Collection system including, repair and replacement of collection lines, wastewater treatment plant maintenance, testing and other duties as assigned. A successful applicant must possess a valid driver’s license, pass a pre-employment drug test and upon a conditional job offer, pass a criminal background check. This position offers public employees’ retirement, a full benefit package including sick / vacation, family insurance with HSA. and a starting wage of $19.00 per hr. General Laborer: Keep up with the general upkeep of the compressor buildings and facility. Duties will include cleaning, oil and water removal. Will clean up rags, rugs, trash removal and station yard mowing in the growing season. Contract assignment (on-going), rate of pay $15 per hour, average 30 hours per week (sometimes more).
