ADS QUALITY MANAGER FLSA:

 Salary / Exempt Salary: $33,973.00 per year 

Supervisor: CEO  Individuals Served Culture: Person-Centered General Description of Duties: Overall administration of the Carroll Hills Industries, Inc. ADS Pilot Project.

 

Specific Duties: • Submit documentation attesting the number of direct service providers that completed the DODD ADS Pilot 8- hour training course. • Report how the ADS Pilot funds were invested. • Ensure the completion of questionairs in the Outcome Tracking System (OTS) to provide data on DODD selected Quality Measures. • Participate in Quarterly Pilot calls to discuss upcoming milestones and to provide feedback to DODD on the Pilot and other relevant topics. • Provide any documentation to DODD to support the evaluation of the Pilot program. • Must be able communicate in a positive manner utilizing both written and Oral Methods. • Perform daily record keeping. Exchange information with other support staff to ensure seamless communication within and outside the agency.

• Provide opportunities for individuals to have choices, make decisions in daily activities and their future goals. • Encourage Enrollee empowerment. • Follow individual support plans consistently. • Must have strong computer skills, excellent writing skills and be proficient working with software documentation. • Attend individual and agency staff meetings related to individuals. • Directs, coordinates and supervises activities in the Adult Services using Pilot resources. • Informs CEO monthly on the progress and status of Adult Day Support Quality Pilot program. Confers with Management Team in the design processes and area layout. • Determines capabilities of work teams; develops schedules for completion of skill development projects. • Performs quality assurance of completed services. • Orders technology supplies and equipment for implementation of tasks and activities. • Performs related duties as required. Qualifications: The Quality Manager will play a critical role in the overall success of the Adult Day Support Pilot Program. Additionally the Quality Manager must have the following qualifications: • Autonomy – ability to work without immediate supervision.

• Interpersonal sensitivity (objective awareness of others, tactful interaction, ease in establishing limits). • Flexibility- Schedule • Insight and the ability to articulate concise directions to staff. • Good judgments, including the ability to evaluate, make decisions, and anticipate consequences. • Initiative and motivation to learn. • Valid driver’s license (or) Valid Commercial Driver License. Insurable and the ability to transport enrollees to activities, community placements, enclaves & day services. • CPR, First Aid and required. • Able to frequently lift, carry, push, pull, squat, bend and twist, reach and climb. • Able to lift 10 pounds consistently, 20 pounds frequently, 50 pounds occasionally. Other Requirements:

• Associate Degree in social services preferred with at least two years experience working in an Adult Day Service environment.  Experience can substitute for education requirement (i.e. High School Diploma/GED and 5 years experience working in an environment serving individuals with developmental disabilities. • Pass Company Physical (DOT if required), • Pass all company drug testing requirements. • Pass all OAC 5123:2-2-02 background checks. • Attend trainings as assigned.
