Carol VanMeter, 74, passed away Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024. Carol was born on July 3, 1950, in Canton, OH to the late Angel and Patty Menendez. Carol attended school in Louisville, graduating from Louisville High School in 1968. She lived most of her adult life in Malvern where she was a Secretary for the Louisville Fire Department. Carol was also active in the Girl Scouts as Neighborhood Council Chair of

Marian Abel, 88, of Carrollton, passed away Tuesday morning Oct. 29, 2024, at the Carroll Golden Age Retreat in Carrollton. A daughter of the late Frank and Myrtle White Shepherd, she was born June 8, 1936 in Bergholz, Ohio. Marian was a member of the Carrollton First Presbyterian Church. Justin C. Lemley went home to heaven on Oct. 25, 2024, at 11:49 p.m. surrounded by his family. He was here for a short time, but touched his surviving family members in a remarkable way. Survivors include his parents, Angel and Justin Lemley; grandparents Rusty and Melissa Lemley and Karen and Bob Uhl; great-grandma, Diana Thomas; uncle, Jacob Lemley; and many aunts and uncles and great aunts and great uncles.
