The Conotton Valley Lady Rockets advanced to the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference (OVAC) 1A championship game with a win Monday night. Conotton Valley shut out Paden City 10-0 April 25 in semi-final competition at I-470 Complex in Wheeling, WV. Great Trail firefighters were called to the truck fire on Water St. at 6:16 p.m. Upon arrival two minutes later, they found the truck, a 2018 Ford F-150, completely engulfed in flames. Logan Beaver set a state powerlifting record at his first competition in Youngstown. Beaver, 16, and his lifting partner, Brandon Cline participated in the USPA Powerlifting competition recently.
