Michael E. Spicer, 39, passed away in St. Luke’s Memorial Hospital in Lufkin, TX, Feb. 20, 2022, after a sudden illness. Born Sept. 25, 1982, in Canton, he was the son of Harold W. Wilmer Raymond Best, 91, formerly of Carrollton, passed away Feb. 24, 2022, after a short illness.  Born July 7, 1930, in Carrollton, he was a son to the late Winfield and Clara Best.  Wilmer was always active in his community starting with serving his country in the Army Company A 19thInfantry Regiment during the Korean War where he received the Purple Heart for his bravery.  He married Georgia (Ruth) Pyles,
