West Virginia man’s death ruled accidental

The death of a West Virginia man working in the oil and gas industry has been ruled accidental.  Carroll County Sheriff Dale Williams said Steven R. Keyser, 35, of Benwood, WV, was working for 5D Field Services in a field in the 4000 block of Canton Rd. Young golf team claims third league title

A young Carrollton golf team won its third consecutive Eastern Buckeye Conference (EBC) championship Sept. 20 at Salem Country Club and finished first in the final standings. The team, comprised of all juniors, sophomores and freshmen, also completed its second consecutive undefeated season last week.
