Pesticide & Fertilizer Updates for Jefferson, Harrison counties

High St. fire quickly brought under control

Firefighters from three departments are cleaning up at the scene of a fire at 439 High St., Carrollton. Carrollton Fire Chief Shane Thomas said no one was injured in the blaze, which was reported just before 7 a.m.  Assistant Chief Bill Wells said the fire started in an upstairs bedroom and both residents were downstairs and were able to escape from the home.
